Join us on a journey back to 19th-century Nääs—when light was not a given, and the glow of paraffin lamps, candlesticks and fires created magic in the dark.
As dusk falls, you will be taken on a unique guided tour through the old castle in darkness, where we have recreated the lighting of the period. Stories of everyday life, supernatural beings and the 19th century’s fascination with spiritualism are brought to life.
In connection with the tour, a warm evening meal awaits in our cosy Kaffestugan, housed in the old granary from the 1820s. Here, a flavourful evening meal is served in front of a crackling fire. This year, we also offer a warming drink in the castle’s 17th-century kitchen.
Slottsboden, in 19th-century style, will be open during the evening.
