The proceeds go towards preserving and developing Nääs Castle and its unique cultural environment – so that the place can continue to be vibrant and accessible, both for today’s visitors and for future generations.

Adjacent to the Café is also the Castle Shop, a small shop filled with carefully selected goods, handicrafts and Nääs products. Here you can browse among beautiful and useful items – from local handicrafts to gifts and mementos from your visit. Perhaps you will find something to take home that reminds you of your time at Nääs.
In the old bakehouse at Nääs, the Skallsjö-Nääs Handicraft Association keeps a living culinary craft alive. During early and late summer, visitors can experience genuine baking days – with the warmth from the baking oven, the aroma of freshly baked bread and the opportunity to purchase the popular Nääs cake. The baking follows traditional methods where the oven is fired, the dough is set and the bread is rolled and baked directly on the hot stone. For those who wish to deepen their knowledge of the craft, courses are also offered where the knowledge is passed on to new generations.
Nääs today is one of Sweden’s largest listed buildings with an adjacent nature reserve, but also a large manor with a fantastic history. The castle stands as the crowning glory on its own peninsula, a landmark that towers over the area and tells the story of the site’s history.
