As early as 1872, August Abrahamson and his nephew Otto Salomon started a craft school at Nääs. Since then, Nääs has been a center for crafts and handiwork, welcoming students and participants from all over the world. Today, the course program is more active than ever, offering a wide range of courses in crafts, building preservation, fine crafts, and folk culture.
