Perhaps they carved cup marks in the rock at V\u00e4nhem to remember a unique place or a cherished memory. From the late 16th century, we can trace the owners of the estate. During the 17th century, N\u00e4\u00e4s became a manor. From the mid-18th century, it was owned by Jacob von Utfall, supercargo at the Swedish East India Company. In the early 19th century, N\u00e4\u00e4s was purchased by the merchant Peter Wilhelm Berg, who founded N\u00e4\u00e4s factories.     <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Between 1868 and 1898, N\u00e4\u00e4s was owned by the merchant August Abrahamson. He became the last private owner of N\u00e4\u00e4s. During his time, a handicraft seminary was founded at N\u00e4\u00e4s that became world-renowned. After Abrahamson passed away on 6 May 1898, the N\u00e4\u00e4s estate has been owned and managed by the private charitable foundation August Abrahamson&#8217;s Foundation.<br\/>N\u00e4\u00e4s today is a national heritage building and a nature reserve, but also a large estate with many activities.
