Welcome to an inspiring writing course at Nääs – three days filled with the joy of writing, practical tools, and new perspectives. The course is aimed at those who want to get started with their writing or take the next step in their development.
During the course, we will work with practical writing, focusing on making it simple and enjoyable – without overcomplicating things. You will work on creating a common thread in your story, building characters, finding the right settings, and developing dialogues that feel alive. We will also cover dramaturgical structure, how to create a sustainable writing routine, and provide an introduction to book formats and publishing.
The instruction is interspersed with writing exercises, both individually and in groups, and you will have the opportunity for brief feedback on your own text. The course provides both inspiration and practical tools to take with you in your writing.
The course is led by Susanne Hydén, who has over 30 years of experience as a headhunter and coach focusing on career and leadership. She is also an author, freelance editor, and lecturer, with both non-fiction and fiction publications to her name. As an editor, she has worked with everything from children’s books and biographies to novels, in collaboration with both established and new authors.
The course also includes a castle tour, providing further inspiration from the site’s history and environments.
