Come and listen to folk music—or bring your instrument and play along! The music starts at 12:00 PM and continues until the Café closes at 4:00 PM—or, weather and energy permitting, as long as the joy of music lasts. There are no fixed stages or designated spots—we play wherever there is space, both indoors and outdoors if the weather allows. What matters most is the joy of music and the sense of community.
As on every first Sunday of the month, there will be a Musicians’ Café at the Hay Loft at 2:00 PM. This time, Klarstråk will perform.
Otherwise, feel free to settle down and play wherever it suits you. Perhaps a new group of musicians will form, or perhaps a familiar tune will be played together with old friends. At Nääs, the music finds its own way.
All musicians will be offered sausage with bread.
Do you have a folk costume or other historical attire? You are most welcome to dust it off and wear it to the music gathering.
Did you know that everyone wearing a folk costume or historical attire receives 20% off all refreshments at the Café? Take the opportunity to enjoy a coffee break between tunes and savor the historic atmosphere.
You are warmly welcome to a Sunday filled with music, community, and the joy of music at Nääs!
The music gathering is organized by the Nääs Society in collaboration with:
August Abrahamson Foundation, the Swedish Adult Education Association, and the Swedish Board of Agriculture through LEADER.
Nääs today is a national heritage building and a nature reserve, but also a large estate with a fantastic history.
